The Georgia Tech Glee Club is an all-male vocal ensemble. Founded in 1906, the Glee Club has a rich history of “healthily irreverent” singing, including two appearances on the Ed Sullivan show, national and international tours, as well as radio broadcasts and recordings. They sing entirely original arrangements of mostly unaccompanied music, utilizing vocal percussion, movement, and technology. Their musical styles range from classical and barbershop songs to modern pop/rock, reggae, funk, and jazz music.
The Glee Club is an un-auditioned group, open to all males at Georgia Tech and the Atlanta community. No previous singing or musical experience is required to join. The Glee Club is also available as an academic class, which fulfills humanities credits for most majors.
